Mayor Ted Wheeler refused to comply with a public records request for Section 8 locations. Political and legal remedies are on going. Section 8 and Portland Bond units were apportioned to neighborhoods relative to total public housing units per neighborhood.
The tax base used to calculate the percentage of the Metro Bond going to Multnomah county is $75,599,623,000 / $181,451,451,000 = 42%

Metro Bond units were based on passage of both bond and amendment 42% X 3900 = 1,625 Units.
Metro has designated that half of the 1,625 Public Housing units be assigned to <=30%MFI status. Mayor Ted Wheeler, who controls the Public Housing Authority of Multnomah County, has not divulged the future locations of these 813 Public Housing units nor has he informed voters where the existing <=30%MFI units are located. The other existing locations of Public Housing units identified as between 30% and 80% MFI are also being concealed from citizens.
