AWARDS

Presented to the Enterprise Captain during a change of command ceremony by his flight group.  Detail of the carving at the top, full award underneath.
The sign board is 18" high x 48" long of 1.75" thick laminated flat grain cedar.  
The Navy wings are High Density Urethane foam cut out, sculpted and glued to the sign face.
The background was sandblasted to display the wood grain and to look somewhat old and worn.
The background was stained, the wings painted with gold paint and the "Rooks", copy and border were painted.  A light brown glaze was applied to simulate aging.
